Delicious local dishes served in a cute restaurant. The staff was helpful in arranging activities. Loved eating on the terrace with bay views.
Oh, I just adored the shared lounge. Who doesn't love awkwardly sitting with strangers while pretending to be cozy?

We had an excellent time in this characterful hotel in Stryn. Our room was not only tastefully decorated, but also huge with good beds and new bathroom, as example. Location: the property was very close to the Loen Skylift and Briksdalsbre Mountain Lodge and the cafes and the center. Furthermore, right opposite an industrial park. Enjoyed our stay here.

The staff at Visnes Hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to provide us with recommendations and even allowed us to use their laundry facilities. We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to one of the newer, spacious rooms. The breakfast in the historic room was delicious and the view of the water was breathtaking. Despite being an old hotel, our room was clean and cozy. We loved lounging on the outdoor terrace and enjoying the vintage vibes of the hotel. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Visnes Hotel for a memorable experience.

Staying at this mind-blowing historic gem was an absolute blast! The well-maintained building oozed charm and history, creating a jaw-dropping atmosphere. The dinner was super delicious, especially the spinach soup that was beyond words! The male staff was incredibly friendly, sharing fascinating stories about hunting the deer himself. We even grabbed a packed lunch for a steal at 150 NOK for 2! The location was perfect, with easy access to Loen Skylift and Briksdal Glacier. The staff was always helpful, and the breakfast spread was simply fantastic. The outdoor dining area on the veranda was lovely, and the owners were always there to make our stay extra special. Plus, the hotel's unique historical charm delivered a truly unforgettable experience. From the squeaky floors to the comfortable beds, everything was perfect. We even had the option to VIP check-in/out! this historic hotel with its personality, excellent breakfast, and picnic lunch option made our trip one for the books.
